Spring...or is it?

I think the hardest thing to endure is a michigan spring! The on again off again warm weather is enough to drive even the most seasoned Michigander insane! The kids suffer from cabin fever and I know I'm itching to combat the weeds that have already shown their pesky heads in the garden. I watch the grey rain clouds pass from my warm vantage point in front of the wood stove and continue along on my quilts dreaming of a summer afternoon when they can be put to good use laying on the grass. But for know I guess I should thank the good Lord for a peaceful day.

Boy oh boy, I know how you feel, since I'm here in West Michigan! We had incredible weather last week, then bam! Now tomorrow back in the upper 60's with near 80 for Friday. Now that's what I"M talkin' about! Can't wait to get back in the yard again.

Melissa,

What a joy to meet you :) Thank you for stopping by the cottage. I am glad that your family is going back to a more simpler way of life. It is wonderful, isn't?

You and I are receiving the same rains, I think...because, I am also looking at my flower beds and going...I need to get in there and tackle the weeds. But I know that tomorrow will be another day and I will do it then.

blessings,

Lady M

I live in southeast GA and we can be in the 80's one day and freezing temperatures the next. That is in winter of course. Our summers are just plain hot!!
